Edge of Extinction and HoH
This is the last 30 seconds or so of an HoH battle we did tonight and why edge of extinction is really abusive. But it kind of played out in our favor. BTW we are not the ones using the edge of extinction. It may be a long download but its worth it.

Remember kids.
When a newbie asks for a NUKER, he looks for an Ele.
When a good player asks for a nuker, rangers are wanted.
Be careful when playing with atomic bombs.
Healers (and warriors) beat EoD strategies.

No such thing as a ranger nuker. At most a ranger semi-spiker, but I'll be damned if a ranger does up to 150. Even hammer warriors only go up to 130 in normal conditions. Rangers don't nuke, but you can put some high dps on them for sustainable damage. That doesn't make it a nuke. You can't have 5 rangers line up, shoot one buffed up penetrating shot or whatever and expect 5 arrows to take down a monk. Not possible.

Can't really think of that much good nuking aspects from a Ranger I mean Kindle + Conjure + Hunters Shot + Poison Arrow/Melandru's Arrow + Penetrating Attack seems pretty good for damage but its a long string of combos and not spiked. Hmm maybe Kindle + JI + Penetrating Atk + Fav Winds + Winnowing ...or a 2nd Dary Necro with soul barbs and weaken armour.

I believe the point of rangers is that their big damage comes in small increments, and is sustainable. Quickening Zephyr to weight the healing costs, and preparations and focused damage to drain monks' energy.
I got a big kick outta that video, even if it took me 9 million hours to download. T.T

Someone died, Edge of Extinction set off a chain reaction and killed more people which added to the damage. By the time the chain reaction ended everyone was dead.
Basically no one thought to go 'hmm...Edge is up, maybe one of our monks should back off for a bit until it dies...' and they expect it to get nerfed because fo their stupidity.
